Meet our intern

Nawaal
Nawaal

Hi, I’m Nawaal, a second year at the University of Bristol currently studying a BSc in Criminology with aspirations of going into a career in law.

Through the intern group I connected with KORI, an inspiring charity that created its focus on new opportunities for the youth. I decided after a meeting with Odiri that this was the group I wanted to intern for as I felt like I would develop my research and analytical skills  for future law firms whilst also having a hand in creating good for the community.

I am completely inspired by the work they have done and continue to do.

Interning with KORI  offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while gaining valuable experience in the charity sector. It’s a chance to grow both professionally and personally.

There are many other benefits to interning but a few of the top ones are:

  • Contributing to creating positive pathways for young people and making a real impact
  • Developing transferable skills
  • Gaining industry insights – we’re big on career pathways so whatever industry you’re interested in we will be able to give you valuable insights and experiences
  • Expanding your networks
  • A supportive environment that nurtures learning in a safe space
  • Working towards dreams and a sense of purpose – this is perhaps the most rewarding aspect – knowing that your work helps empower young people and contributes to positive social change is immensely fulfilling

If this has inspired you then get in touch.
