KORI’s 21st Vessel UK project took six young people from Islington Virtual School to Namibia, where they delivered sports coaching, nutrition and leadership workshops to more than 150 students at Havana High School. The experience challenged perceptions, built confidence and gave participants the opportunity to lead an international project while learning about Namibia’s history, culture and communities. The impact has continued long after their return, with participants reporting increased confidence, new career and education pathways, and a stronger sense of purpose. As one young person summed it up:”Life changing!“
