Young people from our Youth hub sessions took a leap into the world of Circus Arts during our workshop with the National Circus School. It was their very first time exploring skills like tumbling, aerial hoop, aerial silks, and tightrope walking—and they absolutely rose to the challenge.

With expert guidance and plenty of encouragement, the young people built confidence, coordination, and trust in their own bodies, while also learning how to support one another through teamwork and shared risk-taking. With laughter, determination, and a real sense of achievement they expanded their comfort zone and found a new passion. By the end of the session, they weren’t just walking tightropes—they were walking taller!

I really enjoyed doing all the different activities that we did the acrobatics workshop because it felt relaxing and also I got to learn new acrobatics skills. We get to be off our phones for a while and at the same time we are doing something productive.
