Odiri - Founder

Founder Odiri Ighamre has passed the CEO baton to Sagan Daniels after twenty-three years of leadership. It has happened in the best possible way because Sagan was part of KORI many years ago as a young graduate and experienced the benefits of the organisations approach to youth development first hand.

The transformative challenge of the pandemic led to Sagan looking for meaningful work to grow and develop so we are glad that he found his way back to KORI. It has taken three years to carefully implement the transition, and it has been a challenging, informative and deeply inspiring process for all involved. The Rank Foundation who funded the succession period were key to its success. Combined leadership styles and working together has already created a more sustainable organisation.

The board have requested that Odiri continues to support KORI for the next two years, as its Counsel: training and supervising the team and leading on safeguarding. She will also be consolidating and sharing the last two decades of work in multiple ways.
