Engaging Presentation at Hills Road Sixth Form College

What a delightful experience it was to engage with the entire Year 13 cohort at Hills Road Sixth Form in the vibrant city of Cambridge! Despite the initial challenge of aligning with the theme ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ to honor Black History Month, the journey turned out to be incredibly rewarding for both the audience and us as presenters.

A Moment of Reflection

For leaders of small charities like Sagan Daniels and myself, Odiri Ighamre, taking a moment to pause and reflect is a rare luxury. This event offered us that invaluable opportunity. We had the pleasure of sharing our personal beginnings and the unique contexts that shaped our paths. We delved into the stories behind the founding of our organisations, dedicated to fostering positive social change.

Inspiring Young Minds

What truly stood out was the dynamic dialogue and critical thinking displayed by the students. Their insightful questions and thoughtful perspectives were not only inspiring but also a reminder of the powerful potential they hold to shape a better future.

Heartfelt Gratitude

A heartfelt thank you to Hills Road Sixth Form College for granting us this moment to reflect, connect, and inspire. It was more than just a presentation; it was a shared journey of learning and growth.

Thank you again so much for your sessions this week. I know they have been very well received.
