Tutors United uses the power of tutoring to support young people’s attainment, confidence, and skills at two key transition points: from primary school to secondary school, and from university to employment.
KORI have recently partnered with Tutors United whose mission is to  “Use the power of tutoring break down the barriers in education and enable every child to succeed.”

Our organisations were brought together at the Rank Foundation co-working space; where through casual, and then more serious conversations the over-lap in our missions became clear.Â

After brainstorming some of the ways our practices could overlap we developed the S.T.E.A.M Ahead! Programme. This programme focuses on is a STEM and Arts learning that would support children in School holidays. Academic sessions would be delivered by Tutors United and Creative wellbeing sessions delivered by KORI. Together we applied and successfully obtained funding from the Rank Foundation and are delivering a Pilot version of the project during the 2025 Easter Break.Â
